Getting there
No official carrier has been nominated for the 29th APS Conference due to competitive airfares available via the internet. There are three airlines who fly regularly into Hobart. Check out the best fares of the day at from these airlines.
You may consider traveling by The Spirit of Tasmania to the 29APS Conference.
A passenger, vehicle and freight service between Victoria and Tasmania with Spirit of Tasmania I & II. With two ships you are able to sail to or from Tasmania overnight - every night. Departs Melbourne and arrives in Devonport. Sailings are also available from Sydney to Devonport.
Airport transfers
Taxi and shuttle buses offer the most convenient transfers between the airport and Hobart City. Taxis from the airport cost approximately $30. The shuttle service will connect to all hotels listed and is currently $12. The shuttle meets all inbound and outbound flights.
Getting About Hobart

Hobart and its weather February is a wonderful time in Hobart. The days are long, warm and pleasant, and there is plenty to do and see.
February is the month for Festivale, a 3 day outdoor festival held in City Park, in the heart of Launceston. Generally held from 10-12 February it’s a great way to sample some of Tasmania’s food, wine and beers. If you’re into racing, its also the time for Tasmania’s Summer Racing Carnival.
